Filled with the cheerfulness of a welcome spring day, the SPRING SONG handmade necklace is a perfect gift for the woman who loves birds and flowers and unique jewelry. The one of a kind necklace features an artisan polymer clay pendant, ruby quartz, real turquoise and sterling silver. The teardrop shaped pendant can’t help but make you smile with a brown bird perched on a branch with rich red blossoms and green leaves against a turquoise blue sky. The bird has a meaningful spiral motif to represent the wing. Providing eye catching texture, the exquisite design is raised against the turquoise background. The polymer clay has a bit of mica in it so the pendant has delightful, unexpected sparkle in the light (the white specks in the photos is the mica).  Red ruby quartz rondelles and genuine turquoise with black matrix perfectly highlight the bird and flowers pendant. The ruby quartz (a permanently dyed gemstone) is faceted, so provides sparkle at the smallest movement. Separating each grouping of ruby quartz at the front of the necklace are two turquoise rondelles, also faceted, with a single ruby quartz in the middle, all separated by small sterling silver beads. At the back of the necklace, two single turquoise rondelles were used to separate the quartz. The sterling beads radiate an amazing silver glow. A sleek sterling silver toggle clasp finishes the lovely necklace.
