Mermaid Art Earrings, Faux Vintage Green Brown Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "A Mermaid" handmade art earrings feature artisan mermaid dangles, Czech glass and Swarovski crystals - lovely mermaid jewelry for women.

A MERMAID handmade art earrings are perfect for the woman who has a bit of mermaid in her and who also loves famous works of art. Beautifully unique art jewelry, the one of a kind earrings feature artisan created faux vintage copper dangles, swirled green Czech glass beads and sparkling brown Swarovski crystals. The eye catching mermaid  charms were individually hand cut into a trapezoid shape from copper sheeting, filed and sanded. A permanent metal transfer was applied for the faux tin look and then the charms were waterproof sealed for many years of wearing fun. The back of the dangles are shiny copper. Since the dangles were individually artisan made, they are very similar but not exactly the same.  To perfectly complement the mermaids, Czech glass beads and sparkling Swarovski crystals were used. The Czech glass beads were made from opaque medium pine green glass that shades to light apple green with a rustic silky matte finish. To add even more eye appeal, a gold Picasso finish was washed onto about ⅓ of the surface of the beads, adding a wonderful glow. To add mega sparkle, a faceted "smoky topaz" brown Swarovski crystal bicone was placed above each Czech bead.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, unique A MERMAID earrings are a great gift, sure to please the woman who loves great works of art and mermaids!

The mermaid dangles were inspired by the famous John William Waterhouse masterpiece, "A Mermaid," which was painted in 1900. The dangles are a cropped version of a mermaid perched on a rock with her tail coiled around her, combing out her long red hair while singing a song. In front of her is a large shell filled with pearls (legend says the pearls are formed by the tears of dead sailors). She is highlighted by the aqua green sea and rocky arches behind her. The art dangles are based on a famous John William Waterhouse painting called "A Mermaid."

The cheerful SUN’S RAYS handmade earrings are perfect to wear all spring and summer long! Wonderful jewelry for the sun worshiper, these beauties feature rustic Mykonos sun charms and two colors and shapes of Czech glass beads. The unique raised sun charms were made on the Greek island of Mykonos, cast by artisans there. The metal is lead and nickel free, plated in copper and then given a gorgeous turquoise blue green patina. The charms were then hand buffed to bring out the beauty of the raised rays of the sun design. The back of each charm is finished with a dark patina.  Perfectly complementing the sun charms are Czech glass beads. The first are rondelles in an eye catching milky opal aqua blue glass with a earthy brown Picasso bringing out the ridges on each end. The beads are faceted around the middle for subtle sparkle. Because they are translucent, the beads absolutely glow when worn. Stacked above them, separated by a single copper disc spacer, are cheery sunflower yellow Czech glass rondelles. Also faceted and translucent, they add unexpected sunny color to the overall earrings design. Blue Brown Red Bracelet, Sodalite Gemstone Czech Glass Handmade Jewelry

The earthy "Bontà" handmade bracelet features a color block design with faceted blue sodalite gemstones and two colors of faceted Czech glass rondelles - unique jewelry for women.

Beautiful in all it’s earthy goodness, the BONTÀ handmade bracelet will quickly become favorite jewelry for your wrist. The eye catching, color block bracelet features gorgeous faceted blue sodalite gemstones and faceted Czech glass beads in creamy brown and bright red. Sodalite, a gemstone that was sacred to many ancient indigenous people in Peru, Bolivia and other countries, is normally varying shades of royal blue with natural white veining. As you can see in the photos, the blue ranges from very dark to a pale light blue. Most of the sodalite stones have various amounts of veining, some just a few streaks while some have large white patches. The sodalite is grouped in two sets of three and one set of five, each gemstone separated by a small sterling silver bead. Since the sodalite is faceted, the gemstones sparkle as the bracelet is moved.  To add an earthy look, brown Czech glass rondelles were added into the mix. The glass is an opaque creamy tan with a Picasso finish of dark toffee brown with bits of greenish blue on the ends. The middle of the beads are faceted for subtle sparkle. There is a grouping of three of these rondelles in addition to a single. To add a pop of bright red color to the bracelet design, scarlet red Czech glass rondelles were scattered through the bracelet: three singles and one set of three. The center of the scarlet red beads are faceted for glitter and the ends have a metallic copper Picasso finish. Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Birthday to Seamus!

Today, we woke up to about 2" of snow on the ground with more coming down, our third snow fall here in El Paso this winter.  Not only is it Valentine's Day, it's also Seamus' birthday!  9 years young.  Moose Dog absolutely loved playing in the snow, zipping here and there through the back yard, chasing snow balls I threw, rolling in it and eating plenty.

Blue Red Flower Earrings, Pansy Czech Glass Crystal Handmade Jewelry

The "Flores Azules" handmade earrings feature blue with red Czech glass pansy flowers, Czech crystals and two shades of red glass beads - unique jewelry for the woman who loves flowers.

The FLORES AZULES handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who adores flowers. Perfect to wear all summer long - or all year long for that matter! - the one of a kind earrings feature blue Czech glass pansy flower beads with red highlights, Czech crystal rondelles and two shapes and shades of red Czech glass rondelles. The two-sided Czech glass flower beads started out as medium sky blue glass poured into the shape of a pansy with a recessed design in the middle. To bring out the gorgeous detailing in the middle and to give a rustic vintage look to the flowers, a Picasso finish in rusty red and moss green was added and then polished off the faces of the beads. The finish settled in the recessed areas and can be found on the sides of the beads, adding extra beauty to the flowers. Since the pansy flower beads are two sided, the earrings look fabulous from any angle. To perfectly complement the flowers and to add fun color and mega sparkle to the overall design, Czech glass crystals and red Czech glass beads were stacked above the pansy beads. Just above each flower is a silver rondelle set with seven Czech crystals in a rich blue color called indicolite (named after rare blue tourmaline). A bright scarlet red Czech glass bead nestles into each crystal rondelle. Since the beads are filled with small facets, they add not-so-subtle sparkle to the earrings. On top of each bright red bead, separated by a small sterling silver daisy spacer, is a dark red opal glass bead. Since these glowing beads are translucent, they look like they are on fire when the earrings are worn.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the FLORES AZULES pansy flower earrings were created for the woman who loves flowers (perhaps a gardener?) and loves to wear one of a kind, artisan jewelry. "Flores azules" is Spanish for "blue flowers."

The beautiful flower earrings were created from medium sky blue glass with a red and mossy green Picasso finish to bring out the floral details.

Lavender Pink Boho Hoop Earrings, Enamel Flowers Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "You Look Mauvelous" handmade earrings feature artisan cut out hoops and freshwater peacock pearls - unique boho jewelry for women.

Definitely for the woman who loves unique boho jewelry, the YOU LOOK MAUVELOUS handmade earrings are fun and flirty to wear, marvelous indeed!  The one of a kind, lightweight to wear beauties feature artisan enamel gogo hoops with circular cut out and a floral design and dot design. Large glowing peacock pearls are found above. Individually artisan made, the hoops started out as copper blanks with a cut out circle placed closer to the top of the hoops. Mauve-y lavender and pink enamel glass powder was fused onto the front of the hoops using a butane torch. A stencil and white glass powder was used to create five flower petals along the bottom of the cut out and a dot design at the top. Because the cut out hoops were individually hand enameled, they are very similar but also a bit different. The back of the hoops are finished with black enamel. A gorgeous freshwater peacock pearl is found above each enameled floral hoop. The pearls are a larger size and a scrumptious color to perfectly complement the colors of the hoops. As you can see in the photos, the pearls have a blue-gray body tone. What makes them a “peacock” pearl is their amazing radiance with a purple, pink and blue overtones, sometimes color shifting depending on the angle of the light. They are not perfectly round but more of a slight oval shape. A single copper disc spacer caps the top and bottom of each pearl. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the YOU LOOK MAUVELOUS earrings were created for the woman who has a tendency to wear uber-fun, one of a kind, artisan jewelry.

The lavender and pink enameled cut out gogo hoops were individually artisan enameled with a flower petal and dot design.

If you are searching for a stylish pair of handmade earrings that are also very eye catching, the one of a kind PINK WAVES beauties are for you! Created from gorgeous Czech glass coins and mega-sparkle Swarovski crystals, they are a perfect Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day gift to be worn all year long. The Czech glass coins used as the focals are absolutely stunning. These particular beads are a coin shape created with a combination of clear and pink glass and a dimpled, textured edge. The pink glass is in a flowing, wave-like design with many hues, from light pink to dark pink. The clear glass accentuates the pink waves perfectly.
