Gold And Royal Blue Hoop Post Earrings

To make these earrings, I started by forming round hoops with sturdy, gold-plated wire. I beaded the hoops with royal blue pressed glass beads and gold metal beads.

The gold bumpy textured metal beads have interesting oblong shapes and daisy flowers. These beads are the same on both sides. The earring posts and clutches, along with the jump rings are gold-plated.

Pretty as can be! Wonderful earrings for one who prefers gold jewelry over silver jewelry. Wear with casual to dressy clothing.

Dog Heart Necklace, I Ruff You Ceramic Turquoise Handmade Jewelry Gift

The unique "I Ruff You" dog necklace features an artisan handmade dog on heart ceramic pendant, genuine turquoise and copper - jewelry for the dog lover.

You can’t help but to smile each and every time you look at the pendant on the I RUFF YOU dog lover’s necklace! A perfect gift for the woman who adores dogs, the one of a kind handmade necklace features an artisan created ceramic dog on heart pendant, genuine turquoise and copper. The rustic style pendant was hand formed from ceramic clay into a heart with a dog and “I ruff you” impressed into the clay. After being hand painted with dark browns, rusty orange and minty green with a part of the front left unglazed, the pendant was kiln fired at high temperature to add strength and durability (however, if struck on a hard surface, the pendant could crack or chip). The design of the pendant is so whimsical: a cheeky looking dog with curled tail held high is highlighted in a brown glaze against an unglazed background. “I ruff you” is written above, also highlighted in dark brown. Rusty orange and minty green is splotched here and there. As an added bonus, the back of the pendant was left unglazed to act as an essential oil diffuser - just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil and the porous ceramic will hold the aroma for several days. Two heavy duty copper jump rings securely connect the dog and heart pendant to the main body of the necklace.  To perfectly complementi the colors and the rustic look of the dog pendant, gorgeous genuine turquoise rondelles were used. The colors of the turquoise rondelles, which are natural and not color enhanced, run more to various shades of greens and browns with a bit of blue here and there. Glowing copper bicones are liberally scattered throughout the necklace to add a sensuous drape to the necklace when worn.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the I RUFF YOU dog rescue necklace was created for the woman who loves her dogs and loves to wear unique, from the heart jewelry.

One of a kind handmade earrings boast beautiful silver pewter etched coin beads, black glass smooth and shiny coin-shaped beads and round black glass beads. To give these earrings some pizazz, I added black coated copper-plated earrings hooks.

The earrings start off at the top with small, linked black round glass beads. Linked below are the silver flat, coin-shaped beads. These have an etched surface in a circular pattern and are tapered on the edges and raised in the center. The beads are the same on both sides. At the bottom, are smaller, smooth and shiny, bold black glass coin beads.

*** What is dichroic glass? Dichroic glass (pronounced dye-crow-ick) is a type of glass that has amazing multi-colored, reflective properties, especially when viewed at different angles. Extreme color shifts can often be seen. NASA originally developed dichroic glass for use in satellite mirrors and it was also used on re-entry tiles of the Space Shuttles. Sheets of glass have a special coating applied to it that involves vaporizing various metal oxides into a fine dust with an electro-gun. The oxide dust settles on and coats hot glass inside an airless vacuum chamber. Needless to say, because of of the complex, expensive procedure, only a handful of companies produce dichroic glass for artists to use for their designs.

Copper Bird On Branch Pendant Necklace And Earrings

If you love copper jewelry and birds or know someone who does, you will love this handmade, one of a kind pendant necklace with matching earrings.

The rectangular, layered plaque pendant depicts a cutout bird on a branch. The plaque has a hidden, written inspirational message on the bottom layer. Most of the writing is covered with only a few words showing. The pendant does not open up to reveal the message. Above the pendant are a wired section of copper-plated round beads and bright copper rondells.

The necklace chain also has wired sections of beads and rondells. These beaded sections are wired to equally measured links of copper-plated flat oval cable chain. The necklace finishes with longer lengths of chain that fasten with a secure-holding copper-plated trigger style clasp.

The copper-plated post and clutch earrings consist of copper-plated beads, chain, and jump rings. See the length and sizes below.

Pastel Flower Hoop Earrings, Vintage Victorian Handmade Jewelry Gift

The lovely "Victorian Whimsy" dangle earrings feature artisan made copper floral hoops, Swarovski crystals and copper - unique flower jewelry for women.

Looking as if they were much beloved floral jewelry from the Victorian era, the VICTORIAN WHIMSY handmade earrings truly radiate an enchanting vintage charm. The one of a kind beauties feature artisan created pastel pink flowers on minty green copper hoops and two shades of sparkling pink Swarovski crystals. Individually artisan made, the whimsical aged flower images were permanently transferred to a length of copper sheeting and then folded into a hoop, the edges carefully filed and sanded for smoothness. The intricate floral design has old Victorian vibes with various shades of “faded” pink flowers against a pale mint green background. The flower image runs the full length of the hoop, front to back.  The inside of the folded hoops is shiny copper, a perfect complement to the mint green and provides a vibrant glow. Since each hoop was individually made, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same.  To highlight the pink flowers of the earring design, two shades of pink Swarovski crystal faceted bicones were stacked above the flower hoops. The darker pink crystal is called “rose” and the upper lighter pink crystal is called “light rose.” Each crystal adds a huge dose of the spectacular sparkle that Swarovski crystals are famous for. A small copper disc spacer separates each crystal.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind VICTORIAN WHIMSY earrings were created for the woman who loves unique flower jewelry with a delightful vintage look.

The beautiful hoops were individually artisan handmade, copper strips folded into a hoop with a permanent metal transfer.
