Pink Opal Flower Swarovski Earrings, Spring Summer Handmade Jewelry

The "Pretty Pink Posies" handmade earrings feature pink opal Czech glass pansy flowers and two types of crystals - jewelry gift for women.

The size of the PRETTY PINK POSIES handmade pansy flower earrings might be on the smaller size, but they definitely pack a perfect punch of fashion sense! Captivating jewelry to wear on those sunny spring and summer days, the one of a kind earrings feature two-sided pink opal glass flower beads made in the Czech Republic. Because of the opal-like quality of the glass, these earrings positively glow when worn. During the formation of the beads, a metallic copper Picasso finish was applied to bring out the exquisite detailing of the beads and to give them a vintage look. The finish was then polished off, leaving the metallic copper in the center of the pansies, to delineate each of the five petals and on the edge of each bead. Since the flower beads are two-sided, these earrings are attractive from any angle.

To add eye catching sparkle to the overall earring design, two types of crystals were used. Perched on the flowers themselves are Czech copper rondelles set with small, sparkling clear crystals. Seven crystals make up the rondelles, adding amazing dazzle. For even more glitter, a small faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was snuggled into the top of each crystal rondelle. The color is called “light amethyst,” a lovely pale purple highlight to the pink opal color of the pansy flower beads. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the earrings perfectly. Triangle Instrument Earrings

The antiqued silver triangle instrument charms in these earrings dangle along with round silver plated beads. The earrings have bright silver plated lever-back style ear wires that provide a secure hold on pierced ears. See the length of earrings and size of triangle charms below.

The triangle charms have "wand beaters" that are welded diagonally across the triangle. They are styled like older triangles without the opening in the corner.

Mother And Baby Dolphin Pendant

THE SINGING BEADER

A mother dolphin plays her baby as they lightly swing through the circular metal hoop form. The round hoop is hand wire wrapped at the top portion with sterling silver wire. I added a 3mm sterling silver bead to represent a ball balancing on the nose of the baby dolphin. The dolphin charm is hollow on the opposite side. See photo 8.

The antiqued silver-filled steel 16 1/2" chain has 2.3 mm links. The chain fastens with an antiqued silver trigger clasp.

Here is interesting information about dolphins and their baby calf:

A baby dolphin or whale is called a calf and they are very close to their mother. The calf is very dependent on its mother. The two will spend many months together sometimes even years before the young calf can take care of itself. Dolphin babies are born flukes first and sometimes come out head first. As soon as the baby is born the mother pushes it to the surface for its first breath or air. Baby dolphins do not know how to swim when they are born but they learn about a half hour after they are born.

A pair of purple and green lampwork glass beads teams with faceted purple amethyst to create these intriguing handmade earrings, appropriately named WISTERIA. The individually artisan handmade lampwork glass beads started out as opaque white glass. While still in their molten stage, dark purple, lavender and green frit was added to give the enchanting speckled look, so reminiscent of the purples and greens of a blooming wisteria vine. Lead free pewter bead caps with a leaf design caps the top and bottom of the lampwork glass beads to continue the floral fee of the earrings.

The lampwork glass beads were individually handmade from white glass with purple and green frit to add the speckles.

Stacked on top of each lampwork bead is a rich purple amethyst rondelle. Since the amethyst gemstones are faceted and translucent, they provide subtle sparkle and glow to the overall earring design when worn. Each amethyst bead is capped with a leaf bead cap, the same used on the lampwork beads, and a small sterling silver bead. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the design professionally. Delightful to give or receive, these earrings for non pierced ears are fabulous! The blue clip on earrings are extremely light weight. These long earrings feature recycled cookie tin charms. Perfect as a gift for her, the tin earrings are 3.5 inches long. They are very comfortable earrings to wear not only because they are light weight but also because the clip backs have soft rubber inserts. These earrings for women have light blue, artisan made, glass lamp work beads and lavender Swarovski crystals.

The recycled tin charms are made by me. I used a vintage cookie tin to cut the charms out of and then filed the edges smooth. I have added Renaissance wax to seal them.

Gold Wire Wrapped Filigree Bead Earrings

These earrings are made with a gold plated non-tarnish wire formed into hoops. The hoops are hand wire wrapped with three gold filigree beads and two gold plated spacer beads at the lower portion of the hoop.

The filigree beads have an open texture with a slightly raised surface. Very pretty!

Peaceful Goddess with Spiral Necklace, Earthy Jasper Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Síochánta" handmade necklace was created with an artisan polymer clay goddess pendant, earthy jasper rondelles and copper - goddess jewelry for women.

Filled with a warm, tranquil feeling, the SÍOCHÁNTA goddess necklace is a perfect necklace to wear when you are in a contemplative mood . . . or just want to make a fabulous fashion statement. The one of a kind necklace features an artisan handmade goddess pendant with a peaceful look on her face, earthy colored jasper gemstones and glowing copper. The stunning, rustic pendant, which looks like an ancient artefact, was created from off-white polymer clay that was molded into a serene goddess face with closed eyes. The goddess has a spiral design in the middle of her forehead, a spiraling horn is found at the bottom of the pendant and a flower petal-like design around most of the edge of the face. Alcohol inks in shades of light olive green, creamy yellow, dark brown and teal were hand painted on the face. The dark brown ink particularly settled into the recessed areas bringing out the amazing detail and texture of the pendant. The back of the pendant is also painted and is smooth in texture. Two heavy duty copper jump rings connect the goddess pendant to the main body of the necklace. “Síochánta” is Gaelic for “peaceful.”

***Please note: the photos show the raised areas of the goddess pendant, most notably the mouth and nose, as being particularly light in color. In real life, those areas blend much more evenly into the color scheme of the pendant.

To perfectly complement the goddess face pendant, chunky jasper gemstone rondelles were used. The natural earthy swirling colors of the jasper range from pale beige through mossy greens, brick red to black, many pieces containing several of the colors, each piece unique. The jasper is graduated in size, the larger gemstones in front and the smaller to the back. To add gorgeous glow and a sinuous drape to the overall design, 3 mm copper beads separate each jasper rondelle. A handmade (by me) copper hook clasp and hammered closed ring finishes the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SÍOCHÁNTA pendant necklace was created for the woman who adores wearing handmade artisan jewelry . . . and who has more than a bit of goddess in herself!

Long Boho Dangle Earrings with Tribal Disks

- African Sand Glass Beads, Handmade OOAK

Long, stylish, and lightweight, these boho tribal disk earrings are the perfect treat for anyone who loves hippie gypsy styling with a one-of-a-kind design. The pair features metalicized brass resin disks, which have intricate granulations and a mysterious symbol in the center. They remind me of African shields and have the look of ancient jewelry. These disks are especially nice because they look very weighty but actually are not, making for a comfortable long and dangly earring.

To decorate these bohemian dangles, I chose African sand glass beads in a salmon color. They are handmade beads with a rustic, tribal quality. To keep them centered on their wires, I used Japanese seed beads inside the holes. (Of course, the seed beads are hidden.) Lending a further tribal touch are bone rondelle beads and bronze Czech glass spacers. And adding a hint of earthy elegance are TierraCast gold-on-pewter daisy spacers (made in the USA) bordering the African sand glass beads.

Other components of these boho earrings include TierraCast gold-on-pewter jump rings and gold-tone anti-tarnish art wire (all made in the USA).

The length of the earrings is approximately 3.25 inches, including the ear wires. The wires are 14K/20 gold-filled hooks (made in the USA) and come with clear ear guards for better security when the earrings are worn.

Eye-catching and fun to wear, with cryptic symbols and an air of the ancient, these tribal disk earrings are truly one of a kind. They were handmade by me with great care, thought, and best wishes for their destined wearer.
