Dog Paw Print Rescued Necklace, Purple Goldstone Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Rescued" handmade necklace features a two-sided pewter dog print and rescued pendant, purple goldstone and Swarovski crystals - meaningful dog jewelry for women.

If you are looking for the perfect piece of meaningful jewelry for a dog lover, especially a woman who has one or more rescues, then the RESCUED necklace is perfect for her! The necklace features a two-sided lead free pewter pendant, glittering dark purple goldstone rounds, sparkling Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The eye catching pendant mimics a rustic wax seal design, cast from lead free pewter in the U.S. The front side of the pendant spotlights a raised dog paw print, while, on the opposite side, the word “Rescued” is stamped on a raised bar. The pendant was oxidized and then polished. The raised areas of the paw print and the “rescued” word have a beautiful old silver look especially highlighted against the darker oxidized background.  One either side of the paw print pendant are three mega-sparkle faceted Swarovski crystal bicones in a captivating translucent violet color called “tanzanite.” The crystals are separated by small sterling silver beads. Three more tanzanite crystals can be found on each side of the necklace separating groupings of the purple goldstone. What is goldstone? Unfortunately, goldstone is often mistaken for or misrepresented as a natural gemstone. It is a type of glittering glass, usually coppery in color (due to copper oxides added to the glass), made in a low-oxygen reducing atmosphere. Purple goldstone gets its glittery color from manganese oxide, the sparkles are silvery against the rich purple of the glass. If you look closely at the photos, you can see the “sparkles”, the white dots in many of the dark purple beads. When held in good light, the silvery sparkles look like a multitude of stars in a night sky. The unique necklace is finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp set with a triangular shape. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the RESCUED necklace was created for the woman who adores and is proud of her rescue dog(s).

Etched Laser Cut Wood Guitar Pick Pendant Necklace

 With Clip-On Zipper Pull

This wood guitar pick pendant necklace converts to a clip-on zipper pull. You can wear the pendant clipped on the chain that is included or clip it on zippers or purses. You have the option to wear the chain alone or layer it with other chains.

The solid, lightweight maple wood guitar pick is detailed with etched, laser cut music staff and notes. It is handmade in the USA. I added several coats of clear varnish to give the pick a light gloss finish. The back is smooth and flat. The wood pick is very sturdy measuring 25 mm x 25 mm, 1/8” thick.

I decided I wanted to give the pendant a rustic look so I wire together a section of copper-plated round beads and daisy spacers to connect to the wood pick. I also added a copper-plated 16^th note charm that dangles over the pick. The copper colors of the findings are a great match to the reddish-brown engraving of the staff and music notes. The flat cable chain and clasp are also copper-plated.

The chain measures 21” long and the clip-on zipper pull measures 2 3/4”.

Red Poppies Flower Earrings, Red Coral Vintage Look Handmade Jewelry

The "Papaveri Rossi" handmade earrings feature artisan red poppy copper dangles and hand cut red coral discs - unique jewelry for the woman who loves flowers.

Beautiful for spring and summer wear, the charming PAPAVERI ROSSI handmade earrings have a lovely vintage feel to them. The one of a kind flower earrings feature artisan created red poppy charms that are reminiscent of faded Victorian botanical illustrations. Rustic red coral discs are a perfect pairing to the red poppies. The eye catching poppies dangles look as if they were upcycled from old cookie or tea tins - but they only mimic rustic vintage tins. The dangles were individually hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper. A permanent metal transfer was applied for the faux tin look.  A field of red poppies against a creamy white background with green buds and stems are found on each charm. Because the charms are made from copper, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  The red poppy copper dangles are perfectly complemented with hand cut red coral discs stacked above them. Three discs were used, capped on the top and bottom with small copper daisy spacers. Because the red coral was hand cut, they are very similar in size and finish but are not exactly the same. A glowing copper bicone bead finishes the stack. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the PAPAVERI ROSSI handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who loves flowers, especially eye catching red poppies. “Papaveri Rossi” is Italian for “red poppies.”

With a radiant mother of pearl shell flower pendant, the GARDEN OF THE OCEAN handmade necklace makes an absolutely delightful statement whenever worn. The one of a kind necklace features a glowing white mother of pearl carved pendant, rich purple baroque pearls and lead free pewter lantern beads. A beautiful hand carved rose with flowing petals and a stem with two leaves can be found in the middle of the mother of pearl pendant. A line was carved all along the outer edge. Because of the carving, the pendant has beautiful texture which is highlighted when the light hits it just right. Unfortunately, the photos don’t show just how luminous the natural radiance of the shell is as the light plays across it. It’s almost as if the pendant has its own internal light source! The back is silky smooth and slightly concave. To highlight the pendant perfectly, rich purple freshwater pearls make up the main body of the necklace. Since the large beauties are more oval shape, with many having natural ridges, they are called baroque pearls. Between each set of three pearls at the front of the necklace are glowing pewter lantern beads separated by sterling silver daisy spacers and small sterling beads. Each pearl is separated from the other with sterling silver beads for a sinuous feel. Leopardite Jasper Teardrop Earrings, Earthy Gemstone Handmade Jewelry

The unique "Macchiata" handmade earrings feature leopardite gemstone teardrop earrings and copper - earthy jewelry gift for women.

If you're looking for wonderfully organic gemstone earrings to go a little wild in, then the MACCHIATA teardrop earrings are perfect for you! Earthy jewelry that you will reach for over and over again, the earrings were created with spotted leopardite jasper, copper and sterling silver. Mined in Peru, leopardite jasper (also sometimes called safari jasper) has leopard-like spots and swirls created by iron and manganese deposits. In fact the name “jasper” is derived from Greek and means “spotted stone.” The earrings feature two amazing leopardite teardrops with a background of pale creamy beige liberally sprinkled with spots of varying sizes and shapes. The colors of the spots range from a rusty brown through taupe darker brown and black, beautifully highlighted by the pale background. As you can see in the photos, each teardrop is similar but each definitely has its own spotted personality.  

To add eye catching glow to the earrings design, small copper discs spacers cap the top and bottom of the leopardite jasper teardrops. One disc with a small copper bead is found at the bottom. A stack of two discs and a copper bicone bead is found at the top. All the elements used to create the earrings were strung on handmade copper head pins with hand hammered loops at the end. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the earrings perfectly. These handmade antiqued silver pewter sixteenth note earrings have light pink, black, and white Czech glass evil eye beads.
